The Rules
A short list of expectations that keep the platform high-quality for everyone.
Carry valid commercial insurance
You must upload a current Certificate of Insurance (general liability + garage keepers). Your account stays in 'pending' until our team verifies it.
Honor every accepted job
Once you accept a job, you're committed. Cancel only for emergencies - repeated late cancels or no-shows lead to suspension.
Document with before/after photos
Photos are required to mark a job complete and to release your payout. They protect both you and the customer.
Get price changes approved first
If a vehicle is dirtier than booked or needs add-ons, request a price adjustment in the app. The customer must approve before you do the extra work.
No taking customers off-platform
All bookings, payments, and communication must stay inside Detail Relay. Soliciting Detail Relay customers for cash jobs, side deals, or work outside the app is grounds for immediate, permanent removal - and may be pursued legally.
Maintain a 4.5+ star average
Detailers below 4.5 over their last 20 jobs are paused for coaching. Quality is the platform.

- Doing additional work not approved by the customer
- Skipping before/after photos on completed jobs
- Subcontracting your jobs to someone else without approval
Customers introduced to you through Detail Relay belong on Detail Relay. Taking them off-platform is the fastest way to lose your account permanently.
